Highlights of Casa Milà
Casa Milà is a residential building designed by Antoni Gaudí on Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona. It was built from 1906 to 1912 at the request of businessman Pere Milà and his wife, Roser Segimon.
Wavy stone exterior
It is characterized by its undulating stone exterior and, because of its distinctive appearance, is also known by the nickname La Pedrera (The Quarry). The balconies feature intricate iron decorations, with each unique design adding variety to the building’s exterior.
Interior curves and courtyard

Gaudí’s characteristic curves, reminiscent of waves and plants, are incorporated into the walls, stair railings, and ceiling decorations.

The building’s interior features a large courtyard designed to bring natural light and air into every room.
